La actividad forma parte de los actos conmemorativos del ‘Día Internacional de la Mujer’

Dentro de los actos conmemorativos del ‘Día Internacional de la Mujer’, Caravaca de la Cruz acoge el próximo 11 de marzo la I Marcha por la Igualdad, organizada por la Asociación Cultural Cábila Femenina Almorávides, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz. Esta actividad, para la que ya está abierto el plazo de inscripción, ha sido presentada por la concejal que dirige las áreas Deportes, Servicios Sociales, Mujer y Sanidad, María José Soria, y la presidenta de dicho grupo festero, Ana Belén Álvarez.

“Se trata de una marcha que tiene varias vertientes, porque con ella tratamos de visibilizar y reivindicar la necesaria igualdad entre mujeres y hombres en todos los ámbitos de la sociedad, a través de una actividad deportiva, que también tiene un carácter solidario, ya que parte de las inscripciones se destinarán a la Asociación contra la Violencia Doméstica de la Región de Murcia ‘AVIDA’”, destacó María José Soria.

Ana Belén Martínez explicó que se trata de una marcha diseñada pensando en todos los públicos, con varias modalidades de participación: 5 kilómetros ‘Marcha Festera’ para niños y adultos, 10 kilómetros senderismo urbano y extrarradio y 10 kilómetros ‘Running’. El punto salida será el paseo de La Corredera, a las 10.00 horas, lugar donde una vez finalizada la marcha se celebrarán actividades de animación, sorteos y talleres infantiles dirigidos a todos los participantes.

Las inscripciones se pueden formalizar en Papelería ‘Papiro’ (en calle Asturias) o a través del número de cuenta bancaria de la cabila Almorávides, que se detalla en el cartel anunciador de la marcha. El precio es de 12 euros adultos y 5 euros niños (con edades comprendidas entre los 3 y los 12 años), incluyendo avituallamiento, asistencia médica y seguro de responsabilidad civil.

La I Marcha por la Igualdad estará integrada en el programa de actos del ‘Día Internacional de la Mujer’, con el que se conmemora la lucha de la mujer por su participación, en pie de igualdad con el hombre, en la sociedad y en su desarrollo íntegro como persona.
