El Grupo Scout ‘Cueva Negra’ de Caravaca de la Cruz realizará el próximo 15 de diciembre su primera recogida solidaria de juguetes y alimentos. Una iniciativa con la que pretende no solo ayudar a las personas a quien van destinados los recursos, sino que trata de enseñar a sus jóvenes integrantes lo importante que es colaborar todos juntos para hacer un mundo mejor.

La iniciativa contará con la colaboración de Cruz Roja, que se hará cargo de la distribución de los juguetes donados ese día, como parte de su campaña nacional de recogida. Por ello pedimos a los caravaqueños que los juguetes que tengan intención de donar sean nuevos, de carácter no sexista y no bélico, ya que son los que ellos podrán distribuir, por razones de normativas e higiene.

Para la distribución de los alimentos contamos con la Asociación de Amigos del Pueblo Saharaui, y haremos hincapié en la recogida de alimentos no perecederos, ya que no se consumirán inmediatamente. Aun así, todo donativo será bien recibido y el grupo scout se encargará de que le llegue a quien más lo necesite.

La iniciativa se llevará a cabo en dos puntos de recogida de la ciudad, uno ubicado en la Plaza de San Juan, donde además estaremos realizando un taller de pintacaras para todos los niños que pasen por allí; y el otro situado en el Informajoven de Caravaca, en el que tendremos durante toda la actividad un palomitero para agradecer las donaciones, además es donde iremos recolectando todos los donativos.

Por otra parte, un grupo de ‘scouters’ y niños de las secciones harán un recorrido por los domicilios de nuestros vecinos caravaqueños para informar, a quien aún no conozca nuestra iniciativa, y facilitar la donación a aquellas personas que por cualquier motivo no puedan salir de casa.

La actividad se realizará solamente el sábado 15 de diciembre en horario de 10:00 hasta las 18:00, con la cuál esperamos poder ayudar a mucha gente que lo necesite y dar a conocer el escultismo en un lugar donde somos muy nuevos pero llegamos cargados de ilusiones e ideas por hacer un mundo mejor.
