Caravaca de la Cruz se suma una edición más a la ‘Semana de la Ópera’, con la que se pretende acercar este género a todos los públicos

01/07/19. El Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz, a través de su Concejalía de Cultura, se suma a la iniciativa promovida por el Teatro Real de Madrid dentro de la quinta edición de la ‘Semana de la Ópera’. El teatro Thuillier será uno de los lugares de España donde se retransmitirá en directo ‘Il Trovatore’, de Giuseppe Verdi, este sábado, 6 de julio, a las 21.00 horas, con accesogratuito hasta completar aforo.

 

El Teatro Real de Madrid organiza la ‘Semana de la Ópera’ del 6 al 13 de julio, con el objetivo de acercar este género a todos los públicos, sin importar la edad o la localización geográfica, a través de eventos gratuitos que extenderán la celebración a distintas ciudades de España y de otros países de Europa, Latinoamérica y Asia. Su quinta edición se convierte de nuevo en una oportunidad única para descubrir la ópera y compartir la experiencia en redes sociales con la etiqueta #TRovatoreOnFire, con el fin de que todos los aficionados puedan unirse a la conversación. 

lI trovatore’ es una de las composiciones de Verdi más aclamadas, con éxito de público y crítica desde su estreno en 1852. Se trata de una adaptación de la obra de teatro ‘El Trovador’ (Antonio García Gutiérrez, 1836), con libreto de Salvatore Cammarano. La acción se enmarca en el siglo XV, con Vizcaya y Aragón como escenarios principales. La doncella Leonora se enamora de Manrico, trovador y oficial del ejército que lidera los levantamientos. A su vez es pretendida por el Conde de Luna, enemigo de Manrico en el amor y en la guerra.

La producción cuenta con Maurizio Benini como director musical, quien ya ha estado al frente de la historia del trovador en las óperas nacionales de París y de Amsterdam; y dirigido otras producciones en auditorios de fama mundial como el Metropolitan de Nueva York o la Royal Opera de Londres. La dirección de escena corre a cargo de Francisco Negrín, al frente de este montaje en Montecarlo o Copenhague. En cuanto al reparto, contará con Ludovic Tézier como el poderoso Conde de Luna, Francesco Meli interpretando a Mantico y María Agresta en la piel de Leonora.
