José María San Nicolás, del colegio de Educación Especial ASCRUZ, ha sido el ganador del primer concurso escolar del cartel anunciador del Carnaval, que se celebrará el 22 de febrero

Los concejales de Festejos, Juan Manuel de León, y de Juventud, Laura Sánchez, han presentado la programación y el cartel del Carnaval, acompañados por el autor del mismo, José María San Nicolás, alumno del colegio de Educación Especial ASCRUZ.

San Nicolás ha sido el ganador del concurso escolar de cartel anunciador del Carnaval de Caravaca de la Cruz 2020 que por primera vez se ha llevado a cabo con la participación de los alumnos de 4°, 5° y 6° de Primaria de los centros educativos del municipio.

El Carnaval comenzará con una fiesta infantil en la plaza de Paco Pim de 16.00 a 18.00 horas con talleres y juegos. A las 18.30 horas dará comienzo el desfile, que este año contará con la participación de comparsas de AMPAS de algunos centros educativos; las escuelas municipales de baile; varias comparsas invitadas del Carnaval de Cehegín; una comparsa de la Asociación Adaptaocio y los tres primeros premios de las carrozas de las fiestas patronales de Barranda. "El desfile irá organizado por bloques para que gane en vistosidad, orden y seguridad, alternando carrozas, comparsas, escuelas de baile, comparsas de los colegios y disfraces individuales, que irán al final", ha explicado la concejal de Juventud, quien ha recordado que hasta este viernes, 14 de febrero, está abierto el plazo de inscripción en el Centro Joven para aquellos grupos que quieran participar como comparsas en el desfile.

A la finalización del desfile, la plaza del Arco acogerá una fiesta con actuaciones musicales en directo y entrega de premios a diferentes categorías.

Por otro lado, este próximo domingo, 16 de febrero, las dos chirigotas de la localidad, Chirigota Caravaca y Chiriwoman 2020, se presentarán en el Teatro Thuillier, y los concejales han animado a asistir "para disfrutar del mundo del Carnaval, ya que las risas y el humor estarán garantizados y nos harán pasar una tarde muy bonita y divertida".

Para finalizar, tanto Juan Manuel de León como Laura Sánchez han querido agradecer a todos los participantes en el Carnaval su colaboración e implicación, así como a Policía Local, Protección Civil y Cruz Roja, que formarán parte del dispositivo de seguridad en esa jornada.
