El alcalde anima a los vecinos a decorar las casas y hace un llamamiento a la participación en los actos “con entusiasmo y responsabilidad”

“Volveremos a vivir nuestras fiestas, quizá las más esperadas de la historia reciente. Nos preparamos con ilusión para retomar unas celebraciones únicas, fundamentadas en los rituales de la Patrona, llenas de significado y contenido”, señala José Francisco García

Tras dos años sin poder celebrarlas debido a la pandemia de la COVID-19, Caravaca de la Cruz vivirá del 1 al 5 de mayo sus históricas y populares fiestas de Moros, Cristianos y Caballos del Vino en honor a la Santísima y Vera Cruz. Con este motivo, el alcalde, José Francisco García, ha querido emitir un Bando, en el que pone de relieve el arraigo de estas celebraciones y la connotación especial que adquieren este año, lanzando una invitación a la participación a todos los vecinos.

“Volveremos a vivir nuestras fiestas, quizá las más esperadas de la historia reciente. Caravaca de la Cruz se prepara con ilusión para retomar unas celebraciones únicas, fundamentadas en los rituales de la Patrona, llenas de significado y contenido, multitudinarias y participativas”, expone José Francisco García en el bando emitido por la Alcaldía.


 A través de este documento oficial, el alcalde caravaqueño ha querido animar a los vecinos “a decorar las casas y balcones, a poner flores, colgaduras y banderas para que Caravaca luzca, si cabe, más hermosa y luminosa que nunca”. Asimismo, realiza un llamamiento a la participación “en todos y cada uno de los actos previstos con entusiasmo y responsabilidad, ejerciendo de anfitriones con quienes nos visiten, para que se lleven el mejor recuerdo de nuestra ciudad”.


En el bando emitido con motivo de la próxima celebración de las fiestas patronales, el alcalde también apela a la “responsabilidad, al civismo y al respeto a las normas elementales de convivencia, para conjugar la fiesta con el necesario derecho al descanso vecinal”, al tiempo que pide que se tenga especial cautela con las personas mayores y vulnerables frente a la Covid-19”.


Igualmente, realiza un reconocimiento especial a todos aquellos voluntarios y profesionales que durante estos próximos días velarán por la seguridad y la salud de todos: Policía Local, Guardia Civil, Bomberos, sanitarios, Protección Civil y Cruz Roja; así como al personal de limpieza y a los trabajadores de los servicios municipales que durante estas fechas dan lo mejor de sí mismos.
    


El bando finaliza deseando a los caravaqueños, caravaqueñas y visitantes unas felices fiestas. “Que el reencuentro con nuestras tradiciones nos colme de alegría, viviendo estos días en sana convivencia junto a familiares y amigos”, concluye.
