El ciclo de conciertos ‘Las Noches del Camino’ ha contado con 10.000 asistentes en sus tres conciertos

La exposición ‘The Mystery Man’, donde se exhibe la representación hiperrealista del hombre de la Sábana Santa, ha recibido en Caravaca de la Cruz 30.000 visitas desde que abriera sus puertas a mediados del pasado mes de marzo. Así lo ha informado el alcalde, José Francisco García, y la consejera de Turismo, Cultura, Juventud y Deportes de la Región de Murcia, Carmen Conesa, en la visita realizada a la exposición antes de que cierre sus puertas el próximo domingo, 28 de julio.

El alcalde y la consejera de Turismo, Cultura, Juventud y Deportes de la Comunidad Autónoma han aprovechado también para hacer balance del ciclo de conciertos ‘Las Noches del Camino’, al que han asistido diez mil personas 10.000 personas.

“La alta participación en estos eventos, patrocinados por la Fundación Camino de la Cruz dentro de la programación del Año Jubilar 2024, ha supuesto, además de dos hitos culturales para el municipio, un importante aliciente para el sector turístico y hostelero de Caravaca y del conjunto de la Comarca del Noroeste”, según ha señalado José Francisco García, quien ha expresado el compromiso para darle continuidad a los conciertos bajo la marca ‘Las Noches del Camino más allá de la cita jubilar. “Este año hemos sentado una importante base y buscaremos las fórmulas y apoyos necesarios para que el festival cumpla más ediciones”, ha expresado.

La consejera Carmen Conesa, durante su vista a Caravaca, ha manifestado que “el Año Jubilar 2024 de Caravaca de la Cruz alcanza su ecuador celebrando el gran éxito de dos de los grandes eventos patrocinados por la Fundación Camino de la Cruz; la exposición ‘The Mystery Man’ y el ciclo de conciertos ‘Las Noches del Camino’. Estas actividades han aumentado la oferta cultural, de ocio y turística de la localidad, aunando así todas las excelencias de la zona”.

Respecto a la exposición instalada en la antigua iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús, los organizadores han cuantificado en 30.000 las personas que se han acercado hasta sus instalaciones para disfrutar de la obra hiperrealista del hombre de la Sábana Santa, una representación inédita e impactante del cuerpo de Jesús de Nazaret, reproducida según los datos históricos y científicos de la Sábana Santa y fruto de un trabajo de más de 15 años realizado por artistas españoles. La muestra se compone de seis salas, una de ellas inmersiva, que permiten al visitante realizar un recorrido histórico, científico y artístico con los misterios que rodean a la reliquia de Turín como temática central.

Los visitantes, en un 98 por ciento nacionales, acudieron en mayor medida durante el mes de junio, cuando se contaron hasta 7.500 visitas. Aunque se produjo un impulso inicial de las visitas organizadas en grupo, finalmente, han sido las visitas individuales las que han tenido una mayor representación en el cómputo global. Además, se han realizado visitas guiadas en ocho idiomas.

En lo referido al ciclo de conciertos ‘Las Noches del Camino’ el éxito no ha sido menor, se han cuantificado 10.000 asistentes a los tres conciertos celebrados, lo que ha supuesto un impacto económico inicial para la ciudad de 2 millones de euros.

Estos conciertos, celebrados en las noches del 6, 13 y 20 de julio, han permitido a Caravaca de la Cruz disfrutar de artistas como Luz Casal, Loquillo o Arde Bogotá, entre otros, han atraído a asistentes de 37 provincias y han generado una ocupación hotelera del 98 por ciento en la ciudad y en los municipios limítrofes, según los datos del Instituto de Turismo de la Región de Murcia.

El patrimonio cultural y la música han sido una combinación perfecta para ‘Las Noches del Camino’, un ciclo que han patrocinado principalmente Postres Reina, Grupo Fuertes, Estrella de Levante y La Caixa; junto con empresas colaboradoras del Año Jubilar como Aljema-Relosa, Grupo Hozono y TGT (Quesos), con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz.
